Playtonic Games have recently released a trailer for it’s upcoming and highly anticipated platformer, Yooka-Laylee. The game, created by a team of ex-Rare employees, brings together a combination of cartoon like characters in a retro-style platformer that is sure to please fans of games from the Nintendo 64-era.
Yooka-Laylee follows a chameleon and a bat aptly named as the title suggests, Yooka and and Laylee, respectively. It was announced and revealed on Kickstarter back on May 1st, 2015 where it raised just over 2 million british pounds in funding, absolutely smashing it’s goal of £175,000.

Yooka-Laylee is set to be released Q1 of 2017 on Wii U, Xbox One, Playstation 4 and Steam.
