E3 2016: ‘Eagle Flight’ Shows Off Gameplay

Ubisoft’s conference at E3 took some time to showcase gameplay from the upcoming Oculus Rift title Eagle Flight. The demo had two teams playing a Capture the Flag style of game mode, with each player controlling their own eagle and attempting to pick up a rabbit and carry it back to their nest. In terms of offense, the eagles are capable of shooting blasts of air at one another, causing the targeted bird to burst into a pile of feathers. Fighting your way to the target through a version of Paris which has been overrun by nature is certainly an intriguing path, particularly given the sheer number of shortcuts made available. Sewer systems, ruins of buildings, miniature forests, and iconic architecture are all around and easily accessible.

There was no release date given for Eagle Flight, but it will launch exclusively for virtual reality.
