E3 2016: New ‘Battlefield 1’ Gameplay Trailer Revealed

During its EA Play 2016 live stream, a new Battlefield 1 gameplay trailer was revealed. It shows a mix of single player and multiplayer gameplay.

DICE emphasised a more “intuitive” destruction system, dynamic weather that changes unpredictably during multiplayer matches, and the ability to control behemoth vehicles such as airships, armoured trains and battleships.

A press release from EA details a new multiplayer feature called Operations. The press release reads “In Battlefield 1 you will play a series of interconnected battles across multiple fronts. Play a sequence of battles where your actions have consequences beyond a single match, as you try to conquer territory or push back your attackers.”

An Open Beta for the game will arrive later this Summer.

Battlefield 1 will be available on October 21 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
