‘Mafia III’ Story Trailer Reveals Release Date, More Narrative Details

2K Games has released a new trailer for its upcoming game Mafia III. Titled ‘One Way Road’, the story trailer provides some more details on the narrative of the third game in the Mafia series. Mafia III is set in the 1960s, with players taking control of Lincoln Clay, a mixed-race orphan who goes to the Vietnam War and then finds himself in New Orleans.

The story trailer also gives the game a release date of October 7, 2016.

Pre-ordering the game will grant players the Family Kick-Back pack which includes three exclusive vehicles and weapons.

Gamespot reports that limited deluxe ($80 USD) and limited collector’s ($150) editions of Mafia III will be available. The limited deluxe edition comes with the game and its Season pass. The collector’s edition includes the game, Season Pass, and physical content including the game’s score on vinyl, an art book, art prints, and other unannounced items.

Mafia III was first announced in July, 2015. The game will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
