IO Interactive has announced the release date of the second episode in the latest Hitman game.
The only details given about the episode were: an April 26 release; the title “Episode Two: Sapienza”; and a picture showing a sandy beach, beach ball reflecting what appears some kind of resort or estate, and, presumably, the shadow of Agent 47.
In our review of Hitman’s first episode, we thought “the Paris mission (was) a mastery of Hitman goodness,” but “repetition (started) to take hold after half a dozen tries.”
All episodes will release throughout 2016, presumably with outed each month, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
In other Hitman news, the game is receiving new content and technical fixes via Update 1.03, which releases today on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The update will come to PC “in the very near future,” according to a press release.
The new content, called the Vampire Magician Challenge Pack, contains 10 challenges that were created based on the play styles of the community. All of the challenges require Agent 47 to wear the Vampire Magician disguise and use various tactics to take out enemies.
The update also helps with the following issues:
- Faster load times for the The Showstopper mission in Paris.
- Items from the Requiem pack have now been restored.
- Images will load faster in the game’s menus.
- A glitch that gave players a “0 second” time bonus and incorrect score of 210,000.
- More stability added to servers and the game itself.
