‘Final Fantasy XV’ Releasing September 30, Event Rundown

Final Fantasy Fans unite! Square Enix recently hosted an ‘Uncovered Final Fantasy XV’ event for it’s highly anticipated upcoming video game Final Fantasy XV. In addition to giving details on the game’s release, information regarding additional large-scale projects were revealed all containing content from the Final Fantasy XV Universe.

Okay, so first off… Final Fantasy XV is set to release September 30th!

1. An all-star movie.

Of the many things announced a feature film being dubbed ‘Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV” presented by Sony Pictures Entertainment in collaboration with Square Enix was revealed. The film focuses on bringing a prequel narrative to Final Fantasy XV by combining a mixture of royal relationships in addition to epic battles. It features an all-star cast consisting of critically acclaimed actors such as Sean Bean (Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones), Lena Headey (300, Game of Thrones) and Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad) each of which bring their own flair to the roles they’re playing. 2. A five-episode anime series.

Anime fans can rejoice as Square Enix has unveiled plans for a five-episode standalone anime series. The new series is set to delve deeper into the relationships between the crown prince Noctis and his three comrades and promises to deliver an action packed-RPG that fans will surely enjoy. The first episode has been released and is now free to stream on Youtube, additionally a trailer was also released for the anime series here.

3. A pinball app.

For fans that can’t wait a pinball game being dubbed ‘Justice Monsters Five’ was announced to help you bridge the gap from now until the release of Final Fantasy XV. It combines role-playing elements with some of the series’ most iconic monsters and will be available in September in petrol stations, the mobile version additionally is set to release soon on iOS, Android and Windows.

4. An all new demo!

And finally of the big news… A Final Fantasy XV demo has been released for Xbox One and PS4. It is a free download that lets players experience the fragmented dreamscape of Noctis as a child. The storyline is unique to the demo and allows players to experience a standalone experience not found in the game. Master various skills and defeat monsters within this fantastical dream world.
