‘The Division’ Has Become Ubisoft’s Fastest-Selling Game

The Division has sold through more copies in its first 24 hours than any other game in Ubisoft’s history, making it the publisher’s fastest selling game.

The news comes from a Ubisoft press release, according to IGN and Gamespot. Gamespot also reports that The Division “set Ubisoft digital sales records across its available platforms,” too, although no exact sales figures were provided by Ubisoft.

According to the IGN article, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said, “The launch of The Division is a tremendous achievement for Ubisoft, and demonstrates our unrivaled capacity to create fantastic new game brands and transform them into entertainment blockbusters.”

The Division launched on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC earlier this week, having been first revealed at E3 2013.

Analog Addiction will have a review of The Division up as soon as possible. It’s a big game and we don’t want to rush our opinions without experiencing as much as possible.
