The Walking Dead: Michonne – Episode 1: ‘In Too Deep’ Launch Trailer Released

Attention fellow survivors! Telltale Games is back in action with their premiere episode of The Walking Dead: Michonne – A Telltale Miniseries, and its new launch trailer released today. The first episode, ‘In Too Deep’ is one of a three part miniseries, exploring the backstory of Michonne, a character popularized both in The Walking Dead TV show and graphic novel. Across the series, players will explore the broken psyche and past of the katana-wielding Michonne, uncovering what took her away from Rick, Carl, and the rest of her trusted group… and what brought her back.

The series’ first episode ‘In Too Deep’ finds Michonne joining Pete and his crew aboard the sailing ship The Companion, as they venture the coast looking for supplies and survivors. However, something is amiss when the crew finds a distress signal leading them to the scene of a horrific massacre. Exploring further on, the crew finds the floating survivor’s colony of Monroe, where the very person responsible for the carnage might be hiding…

Available for the PC/Mac via the Telltale Online Store and Steam, the Playstation 4 and Playstation 3 via the PlayStation Network, and the Xbox One and Xbox 360 via the Xbox Games Store, ‘In Too Deep’ will be released on February 23rd. The episode will also be available starting February 25th for compatible iOS devices via the App Store, and for Android-based devices via Google Play and the Amazon App Store.
