‘Quantum Break’ Releasing on Windows 10 Simultaneously With Xbox One

Xbox and Remedy Entertainment have announced that Quantum Break will be available on Windows 10 simultaneously with the Xbox One version on April 5, 2016. Pre-Ordering the Xbox One digital version of Quantum Break, either through the Xbox Store or digitally via a retailer, will give players the Windows 10 version of the game for free.

A new live-action trailer titled “The Cemetery” has been released to celebrate the upcoming launch of Quantum Break.

In the same press release, Xbox and Remedy announced that every copy of Quantum Break on Xbox One will come with a full-game download for Alan Wake on Xbox 360, plus its two add-on packs, The Signal and The Writer. Of course it will be playable on Xbox One via Backward Compatibility. Further, players pre-ordering Quantum Break for Xbox One at participating retailers, or through the Xbox Store will receive a full-game download for the arcade title Alan Wake’s American Nightmare for Xbox 360.

Finally, Xbox announced a new Xbox One Quantum Break Bundle which includes a 1TB console, wireless controller, a full-game download of Quantum Break and a full-game download of Alan Wake accompanied by The Signal and The Writer add-on packs. Pre-ordering the Xbox One Quantum Break bundle will also grant players access to the Windows 10 version of Quantum Break for free.

Quantum Break hopes to blur the line between television and video game, with the game featuring a live action show, with stars such as Shawn Ashmore (X-Men) and Aidan Gillen (Game of Thrones), that is affected by your in-game choices. It will release on Xbox One and PC on April 5, 2016.
