Every exclusive 2015 holiday game exclusive to Xbox has sold over one million units. Xbox’s Corporate Vice President of Marketing, Mike Nichols broke the news earlier this week that Halo 5: Guardians, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Forza Motorsport 6 and Gears of War: Ultimate Edition had all passed the massive one million sales milestone, through a post on Xbox Wire .
Along with the sales milestones were other record breaking events. December 28, 2015 had more people using Xbox Live than any other day in Xbox history. Further, the Xbox One is the best selling console in Xbox console history, continuing to outpace the Xbox 360 at the same point in time in the Xbox 360 life.
Nichols also shared some statistics from Xbox in 2015. Over 4 billion achievements were earned in 2015 across Xbox platforms; Xbox gamers have logged more than 15 million hours playing Xbox 360 games on Xbox One through backwards compatibility; and over 6.6 million hours of Xbox One games have been streamed to Windows 10 PCs.
Rise of the Tomb Raider‘s sales will continue to climb when the game is released on PC later this month, and eventually on PlayStation 4 too.
