Following the gameplay reveal of Far Cry Primal at The Game Awards, creative director Maxime Béland has told Gamespot that Far Cry Primal “is the next Far Cry” game, rather than a spin-off like Blood Dragon.
When asked how big Far Cry Primal would be, Beland responded, “I think it’s going to be the equivalent of Far Cry 4. If you decide to [sic] all the side stuff, then the gameplay hours go really high. I think our single-player story, if you’re rushing through, will be similar to Far Cry 4. The world is as big as Far Cry 4, too.”
You can see the 9 minute gameplay reveal for Far Cry Primal in the video above.
Far Cry Primal will be available on February 23rd, 2016, for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and March 1st, 2016, for PC.
