Avalanche Studios, the developer of Just Cause 3, has announced that it is working on a patch for gameplay issues present at the game’s launch.
IGN reports that players on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC have been reporting drops in frame rate and longer than usual load times as issues currently affecting Just Cause 3.
In a post on Steam today, an Avalanche Studios representative said that the team is aware of the issues, and is working to recreate them so as to fix them. However, no date has been given for a fix.
“We know you’re going to want specific information on when a patch will land and what will be fixed – we would love to give you that information, and we will as soon as we have it. But right now, a little over one day since we launched, we have huge numbers of players in our enormous game world and we’re monitoring all the data coming in,” writes Avalanche’s community representative who goes by the Steam name Petrao.
Analog Addiction will share news of the impending patch as soon as it is available.
Just Cause 3 was released on December 1. It is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
