Originally released on Steam last year, Fenix Rage will be seeing a console release for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One in the near future, but the development has taken an interesting turn. It seems the game is being forced to modify the second half of its title due to another company claiming legal naming rights to the word “Rage.” As Green Lava is a small, three person development team, they have no choice but to accept the fate and modify their game’s title prior to the console release.
For those unfamiliar with the title, it follows the titular hero Fenix in his quest to return order to the world after his village was destroyed courtesy of a massive explosion. Perilous terrain, enemies, and bosses stand between Fenix and his goal, forcing you to use all your platforming skills to aid him in his journey.
No modified title has been announced for the game yet, but as the game is scheduled to release on PS4 and Xbox One later this year, it will likely not be long before we learn which word will follow “Fenix” in the title. We will keep you up to date with details on the story as they become available.
