Developer Team Meat has teased Super Meat Boy’s potential release on the Wii U.
On Super Meat Boy’s website, designer and programmer Tommy Refenes posted an article saying thank you to those who brought the game to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, both versions of which released today. The closing statement to the article said “To the fans we’re still excluding, I’ll leave you with this: Wii haven’t forgotten about U.”
With Team Meat’s other title, The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, on the Wii U and 3DS, it’s certainly a strong possibility the 5-year-old platformer could still see the light of day on a Nintendo console.
If Super Meat Boy doesn’t release on the Wii U or 3DS, it’s additionally available on Xbox 360, PC, Mac and Linux.
