‘Fallout 4’ Gets Latest S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Video: Endurance

Bethesda Softworks has released the latest S.P.E.C.I.A.L. video in their series showcasing player attributes in Fallout 4.

S.P.E.C.I.A.L. is an acronym focusing on different traits the player has. The newest short showcases the letter E, which stands for Endurance.

In previous Bethesda-published Fallout games, Endurance determined the player’s health, poison and radiation resistance, Unarmed skill, Survival skill and more.

Judging by the latest video, it will at least include the previous elements along with a cannibal perk, how long players can sprint and how long breath can be held under water.

It looks like elements from Fallout: New Vegas’ Hardcore mode, where players must keep track of how much they eat and drink among other things, may return as well. Slightly past the one-minute mark, the video says “Like any machine, your body must be well-maintained to stay in tip-top shape” while showing food and water going into the Vault Boy.

With Strength, Perception and now Endurance shown, it’s safe to assume the other attributes (Charisma, Intelligence, Agility and Luck) will have humorous accompanying videos leading to Fallout 4’s Nov. 10, 2015 release for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
