‘Full Mojo Rampage’ Coming to Xbox One and PS4

Full Mojo Rampage #2

The publisher/developer team of Nicalis Inc and Over The Top Games has announced the multiplayer-centric roguelike title Full Mojo Rampage. Playing as a voodoo apprentice searching for knowledge, slashing your way through hordes of enemies in the name of helping the powerful Baron Samedi will be the focus of gameplay. There are powerful voodoo items to be found as well as Loas, the game’s Voodoo gods. Of course, some gods have a sense of humour and may actually hinder your progress, and the same may be said of some items, although you will not know which way the end result will go until you have picked up the item or dealt with the Loa, making every attempt at improving your character a gamble. Death will reportedly be an inevitable aspect of Full Mojo Rampage, but fortunately any experience and gold earned will carry over to your new character after death, ensuring that your hard work never goes completely to waste.

The title will provide both co-operative and competitive game modes, although there is no word at this time about whether it will feature local multiplayer, or strictly online. Levels will be randomly generated, there will be a plethora of easter eggs referencing a wide range of other games, unlockable content will be in abundance, and a class system which lays the foundation for the leveling system in-game.

Full Mojo Rampage is scheduled to release on the Playstation 4 and Xbox One later this year.

  1. I have this game on steam and have always found it to be a nice entry into the realm of Binding of Isaac-like games with its progression system and Voodoo thematics, and was disappointed that it didn’t seem to get much attention on Steam. Glad too see it’s coming to Xbox One and PS4.
