Nintendo has announced when the next two waves of amiibo hitting North American store shelves.
Collectors can pick up Super Smash Bros. amiibo Zero Suit Samus, Captain Olimar, Bowser Jr., Dr. Mario and Ganondorf on Friday, Sept. 11. The retro Super Mario Bros. 30th anniversary Mario amiibo will launch with the aforementioned figures, which is also the same day Super Mario Maker releases.
Nintendo said details on the modern-colored anniversary Mario amiibo “will be shared in the future.” Meanwhile, Europe and Australia can expect the figure on Friday, Oct. 23, which was announced alongside a few different Super Mario Maker bundles.
Then on Friday, Sept. 25, Duck Hunt, R.O.B. and Mr. Game & Watch amiibo will launch together in a “Retro 3 pack.”
Finally, each Mii Fighter, which was originally supposed to release sometime in September, will now not only launch sometime in November, but they will come in a three-pack bundle as well.
Nintendo did not say if any of these amiibo will be exclusive to specific retailers in North America. Previous amiibo such as Rosalina and Jigglypuff were exclusive to retailer Target, while Meta Knight and Dark Pit were only available at Best Buy.
