‘Quantum Break’ Release Date Announced With New Trailer

Microsoft and Remedy Entertainment have released a new trailer for the upcoming third-person time warping shooter Quantum Break. The trailer, which premiered at Xbox’s Gamescom 2015 briefing shows some gameplay, as well as some scenes from the in-game live action show. At the end of the trailer, a release date of April 6, 2016 was revealed.

During the briefing, Creative Director Sam Lake and lead actor Shawn Ashmore (X-Men: Days of Future Past) were on stage to talk about the game and the corresponding live-action show. “The game is about the heroes, the show is about the villains, and one story is told from multiple perspectives” said Ashmore.

The trailer also shows Game of Thrones actor Aiden Gillen (Littlefinger) taking on the role of the villain character.

Quantum Break is a third-person shooter from Remedy Entertainment, the team behind the Alan Wake franchise.
