Fresh off Square Enix’s Dragon Quest X and Dragon Quest XI announcements, the company also stated both games could be coming to the NX, Nintendo’s successor to the Wii U.
Square did not confirm the games were coming to NX though. They simply said “It is under consideration, but we don’t have further information to share at the moment.”
DQX coming to PlayStation 4 and DQXI’s reveal announcements were made during a live stream by Square. The only confirmed consoles for DQXI are the PlayStation 4 and New 3DS. Square also said Dragon Quest XI will run on Unreal Engine 4.
The Nintendo NX was first talked about in March this past year. The codenamed console will deliver a “brand-new concept” and be a “dedicated game system.”
