‘SMITE’ Hits 10 Million Players; Offers Free Character

This week the popular MOBA SMITE has reached the milestone statistic of having 10 million unique players worldwide. To celebrate, Hi-Rez Studios has decided to bring back the Hercules skin from when the title was originally in the PC beta. The skin has been named “Retro Herc” and will be available to SMITE players throughout all of August. However, there is a bit of a catch attached to this skin, as players must work to gain access to it. While the task is nothing compared to any of the twelve labours of Hercules, players who win 10 PVP matches in the month of August will unlock Hercules as well as the skin and a special voice pack. What is so special about the voice pack? It happens to be recorded by the man who played Hercules in the live action television series, Kevin Sorbo.

SMITE is currently available on PC and the open beta is available to download on the Xbox One.
