SMITE, the first free-to-play MOBA on Xbox One, has entered its Open Beta phase, meaning it is free to download for everyone via the Xbox Marketplace.
Existing players from the Closed Beta will retain all of their unlocks and their level, and PC players can perform a one-time account transfer to copy purchases, favour earned and experience points to their Xbox account.
Meanwhile, new players will have access to ten free gods each week, with the option to purchase any god with in-game currency or real currency.
During the Beta, players can purchase a Founder Pack for $29.99 in North America or $39.95 in Australia, to gain access to every god (past and future), two exclusive skins and 400 gems.
Also launching with the SMITE Open Beta on Xbox One are Australian servers. The Closed Beta only had North American and European servers, but now players in Australia and New Zealand will be able to enjoy a smoother playing experience.
SMITE is one of the most accessible MOBAs available due to its familiar third-person perspective and options to have items automatically bought and skills automatically levelled. The game was released on PC in 2014.
In other SMITE news, the PC version received a new god, Ravana, in the latest patch.
