Limited Edition ‘Metal Gear Solid V’ PlayStation 4 Bundle Announced

Sony Computer Entertainment has announced a Limited Edition Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain PlayStation 4 Bundle, which also includes a Metal Gear Solid V themed PlayStation 4 console and DualShock 4 controller.

The Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain PlayStation 4 Bundle will release across Europe, Australia and New Zealand concurrently with the release of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain on September 1, 2015.

There will be two different variations of PlayStation 4 bundles, the first will include a standard PlayStation 4, DualShock 4 controller and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Day One Edition, which includes bonus downloadable content.

The bundle Metal Gear Solid fans will be most excited for includes a custom PlayStation 4 and DualShock 4 controller, themed after the aforementioned Metal Gear Solid V game, alongside the Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Day One Edition.

The PlayStation 4 console itself will be a special deep red colour with gold line detail, which is inspired by Snake’s “Bionic Arm”. While the DualShock 4 controller will be a metallic grey colour, resembling the handgun held by Snake. Both the console and controller will also feature the unit emblem of Diamond Dogs, a private military organisation led by Snake himself.

To celebrate the announcement of the Limited Edition Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain PlayStation 4 Bundle, Konami has also released a new batch of screenshots which you can view below.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will release September 1 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and September 15 for PC.
