Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has confirmed an array of franchises that will be featured in LEGO Dimensions.
LEGO Dimensions will now feature The Simpsons, Doctor Who, Ghostbusters, Portal, Jurassic World, Midway Arcade, LEGO Chima and Scooby Doo! The new list of confirmed franchises bolsters the previously revealed list of DC Comics, The Lord of the Rings, The LEGO Movie, The Wizard of OZ, LEGO Ninjago, and Back to the Future franchises.
Alongside the newly announced franchises, a new trailer revealed that every LEGO vehicle and gadget can be physically built and then rebuilt twice more. Rebuilding objects into these new forms will correlate into the game world of LEGO Dimensions, with each form built being playable in-game.
One of the examples given by Warner Bros. was the LEGO Batmobile, which features in the LEGO Dimensions Starter Pack. The Batmobile can be built into its original form, but with some alterations players can transform it into the Batblaster which adds a sonar gun that can break LEGO sonar bricks. While the final the form is calld the Sonic Batray, which has the ability to perform a special attack in the for of a missile barrage.
LEGO Dimensions will launch September 27 in North America and September 28 in Australia, for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
