‘Back to Bed’ Coming to PS3, PS4 and PS Vita

Following its success on PC, Mac, Android and iOs, indie title Back to Bed is coming to the Playstation family of consoles this summer. A strange, but beautiful puzzle title from Bedtime Digital Games, Back to Bed  follows the never-ending journey of Bob. Bob, a narcoleptic sleep-walker, must make it back to his bed without being woken up because, as everyone obviously knows, if you wake up sleepwalkers, they die…..right?

The game style draws stylistic parallels to fellow abstract puzzler Monument Valley (which, if you haven’t played yet, I’d highly recommend), with a dark, whimsical sense of humor. If you’re looking for something a little off the beaten path that’s constantly self-aware of its ridiculousness, I’d definitely recommend you check out this game.

The game’s arrival into the Playstation Suite is a result of a collaboration between former Playstation Home developers, Loot Entertainment, and the original team behind Back to Bed, Bedtime Digital Games. Its arrival will also include a host of extra music tracks, special playstation features, and the ability to add several unique Back to Bed themes to your Playstation home screen.

Look for the game in the Playstation store, as well as E3 where the dev team will be demoing the game, this summer. If you’d like to find out more about the game, check out its initial release trailer from last year below!

  1. Fun, I like the Twin Peaks allusions (“The stairs are not what they seem”, “The clock turns Bob-wise”).
