Independent developer Italic Pig and publisher Team 17 have announced Schrödinger’s Cat and the Raiders of the Lost Quark will be available to download for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on May 13 for £6.99 / $9.99 / 8,99 €.
Controlling Schrödinger’s Cat, players find themselves within The Particle Zoo. After a catastrophic event every enclosure within the zoo has opened and all the primitive particles have escaped causing chaos throughout. Schrödinger’s Cat has been called in to bring order back to The Particle Zoo.
Schrödinger’s Cat can also collect and command an army of cuddly quarks, which can be combined to create 14 unique abilities, which need to be used to solves problems throughout over 30 levels.
The lines between each gaming genre continue to be blurred, and Schrödinger’s Cat and the Raiders of the Lost Quark is another title featuring aspects from a variety of genres. With developer Italic Pig describing its latest title as, “part combat-platformer, part logic-puzzler, part open-world explore and part character-driven adventure”.
