CD Projekt Red has released new gameplay footage from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, alongside a collection of new screenshots.
The new gameplay footage contains over twelve minutes of new content, which gives us a small glimpse into the variety of activities players will experience throughout their adventure. Series protagonist Geralt is shown exploring the open world on foot, and horseback, while we also see him pay a visit to the bounty board to collect a series of side quests.
The new footage also shows a number of cut scenes but due to the small amount of footage in context to the one hundred plus hours of promised gameplay, it’s hard to tell how/if they are apart of the main campaign or side quests. That’s not all however, as we also see our favourite Witcher take down a series of monsters, before taking a swim in the beautiful ocean.
The new screenshots showcase some of the scenes from the new gameplay, but also give us a good look at the gorgeous amount of detail that has been handcrafted into this picturesque open world.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is scheduled to release May 19 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Analog Addiction has interviewed CD Projekt regarding The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on two occasions, with each interview available here and here. It was also previously revealed players will have access to a second playable character.
