2K and Gearbox Software have announced Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, which brings both Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel along with every downloadable content pack for both titles to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 24 in North America and March 26 in Australia and New Zealand.
Borderlands: The Handsome Collection bundles together the story of Handsome Jack, which takes place over both installments in the franchise; but doesn’t include the original Borderlands. The collection will also be the first time in the franchises history that four play split screen will be available, utilising the new power of next generation hardware.
Both games will include high resolution visuals and will also allow for players to transfer their previous save files to the next generation versions with cross save functionality. Though players will only be able to transfer their PlayStation 3 save to PlayStation 4, and Xbox 360 to Xbox One, with no cross family transferring available.
