Ubisoft has announced the Assassin’s Creed Unity – Dead Kings DLC is now available for free for all Assassin’s Creed Unity owners on PC and Xbox One (though an Xbox Live account is required), with PlayStation 4 owners available to download tomorrow across EMEA regions.
Dead Kings takes place following the events of Assassin’s Creed Unity, players will once again play as Arno as his latest quest leads him to the town of Saint-Denis, then known as Franciade. Arno is tasked to explore the intricate network of catacombs and caves that hold the remains and secrets of past French kings, located under the city.
Arno receives access to new equipment and weapons, such as a lantern to help guide his way underground and the Guillotine Gun, offering a powerful explosive weapon from afar and a damaging closer-quarter armament, which will carry over between Assassin’s Creed Unity and Dead Kings. Familiar faces from Unity’s story will also appear in Dead Kings, such as Napoleon and Marquis de Sade, as well as a new enemy faction known as the Raiders.
