PlayStation 4 Software Update 2.02 Now Available

Sony has announced software update version 2.02 for the PlayStation 4 and it is available now.

The new update has been said to “improve system stability during use of some features, games and apps”. This follows software update version 2.01 which was released last week, which was meant to address the PlayStation 4 Rest Mode problem that software update 2.0 introduced. The 2.0 update has caused many problems since its original release, which also delayed the Evolve Big Alpha for PlayStation 4 owners.

Software update 2.02 can now be downloaded on your PlayStation 4 console and is 217mb in size.

Editor’s Note: My PlayStation 4 never encountered the Rest Mode problem until I downloaded software update 2.01, I’m hoping this new update will fix the new error I have occurred. If you are also suffering from the same Rest Mode error issue from software update 2.01, let me know in the comments below.
