Konami Digital Entertainment B.V has announced they will be showcasing Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and PES 2015 at this year’s Gamescom event, which takes place between August 13 – 17 in Cologne.
Both titles being showcased utilise Kojima Production’ impressive Fox Engine, though both experiences couldn’t be further apart. Konami hopes showcasing both titles will demonstrate the “versatility and power” of the Fox Engine.
“With Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and PES 2015 we will be proudly presenting two of our strongest brands at Europe´s biggest games show, to a huge audience keen for new details,” said Martin Schneider, General Manager at Konami Digital Entertainment B.V.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is scheduled to be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, while the prologue to the latest installment in the franchise, Ground Zeroes, was released earlier this year and you can check out our review here. While PES 2015 is scheduled to be released later in 2014 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
