‘The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’ Standard, Collector’s Edition Revealed

Alongside a breathtaking in-game trailer, CD Projekt RED has also revealed the Standard and the Collector’s Editions for its upcoming RPG, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

Unlike the majority of standard editions, Wild Hunt‘s will contain the following:

– A Blu-ray™ Disc with the game (DVDs on PC)
– An exclusive CD with the official soundtrack
– The official, developer-created “Witcher Universe – The Compendium”
– A beautiful, detailed map of the in-game world
– A set of unique stickers
– A stylish, protective sleeve

On the other hand, the Collector’s Edition sports the following:

– All the contents from the standard edition of the game
– A giant, 33x24x26 cm (10”), 100% hand painted, Polystone figure of Geralt of Rivia battling a Griffin
– An exquisite, collector-grade Witcher medallion
– A one-of-a-kind SteelBook™ box
– A two-hundred-page artbook, containing breathtaking art from the game
– Huge outer and inner Collector’s Boxes you can store your Witcher merchandise in!

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt launches on the 24th of February, on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

  1. Frankly, it somehow does not impress. Nothing fancy there is in this collection. Most of the figures, it is now done manually. And it looks strangely. Besides, who would buy collector, since few will be able to launch the game.


  2. Wow. That Standard Edition seems pretty cool. I was gutted when i heard that amazon worn’t offering the CE anymore (my guess is that its sold out due to pre-orders) but i’m glad to see majority of that content in the SE. More devs should create similar editions.


    • I know, right? So an independent developer can add all these sweet items in every-day package, but the big ones (i.e. Ubisoft, EA, Activision) will not? I’m not saying adding a map and some stickers is the world, but it sure as hell shows a lot of passion. And, ultimately, that’s what CDPR have shown us every since their first game.

      Can’t wait for Wild Hunt!
