Ubisoft Launches ‘The Crew’ – “Skin a Car” Promotion

Ubisoft has launched a community focused contest for their upcoming 2014 release of The Crew. Known as “Skin a Car” fans are invited to customise their very own Mini Cooper S for a chance to see their creation in the final game, alongside some bonus prizes and a copy of The Crew itself.


Fans can the contest on The Crew’s website, where they can create their own design. Fans can use colours, brushes and even game sticker or personal stickers uploaded by the participant. The customisations on offer have been specifically developed for the contest to showcase the amount of options players will find in the full release.

The designs created must be shared on The Crew‘s Facebook page, where they will be submitted to a fan vote; where the top designs will be featured in the 2014 release.

The Crew contains and open world version of the United States of America, allowing players to drive around the country as they see fit while playing online in a persistent online world, populated by real humans.
