Sony has debuted a new trailer titled “A Day With PlayStation” which has given us a clear look at the newly announced PlayStation Vita TV in action.
The video shows a user turning on the Apple TV like device which is plugged directly into a TV. The accompanying DualShock 3 controllers are now functioning in place of the Vita’s own controls by using the PS button to access the main menu and other various buttons are used to navigate the menu which can only be done via touch on the Vita.
From the video’s example of the two guys playing Tekken, PS Vita TV also looks like it’ll support two players at a time. The PS Vita TV segment of this video ends with a group of people demonstrating the device’s streaming abilities by watching a Spiderman movie.
Whilst have an idea of how PS Vita TV will work, it’s interesting to see it in action. The transitions look smooth and effortless, just like on the handheld itself.
