Nintendo and Capcom have announced that they will be working on some sort of collaborative effort in celebration of their recent partnership for Monster Hunter 4.

The news, which was confirmed by the Japanese Engadget blog,  stated that “Nintendo and Capcom also expressed their intent to do something special to symbolize the tag-team effort that the two companies put into Monster Hunter 4,” Siliconera reported.

There has been no confirmation whether or not this new collaboration will be directly related to Monster Hunter 4 or is something entirely new. Both companies did however confirm that more details will arrive via a Nintendo Direct shortly before the Japanese launch of Monster Hunter 4 on September 14.
