Respawn – TitanFall will “Definitely not [have] a crappy PC port!”

Titanfall Screen 2

Developer Respawn has revealed a few new details for its upcoming Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC title, TitanFall. Get the latest news on its possible Windows 8 exclusivity, the state of the PC version, the player count, and the means of distribution below.

First of all, in contrast to some rumours which seemingly came out of nowhere, TitanFall will not be a Windows 8 exclusive title. This, of course, means that it will also be available for Windows 7, though a Vista, or even a XP version is unknown.

Secondly, the developer is apparently set to deliver a great experience to PC players, stating that it doesn’t want to release a “crappy PC port.” This means that players should expect PC-specific features, like a field-of-view slider, and the ability to completely disable mouse smoothing/acceleration.

Thirdly, the developer hasn’t finalised the details on the game’s player count. The multi-player matches featured at E3 showcased 7v7 battles.

Lastly, even though the game will be published by EA, it is unknown if the game will be available exclusively on Origin, when it comes to digital purchases.

As mentioned above, TitanFall will be released on the Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC sometime in 2014. For all your latest mecha-news, keep it locked to Analog Addiction!
