CD Projekt Red Opening New Studio to Produce Two New Titles

The Witcher 3 - Wild Hunt #9

CD Projekt Red will be opening a new studio next month, where 2 new games will be developed.

The new studio is located in Kraków and will be working on two relatively smaller titles, both approximately 20-hours in length

Managing director of CD Projekt Red, Adam Badowski confirmed these development projects to Eurogamer.

“This July we will open an office in Kraków,” Badowski said. “As we informed in our strategy outlook some time ago, aside from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Cyberpunk 2077, the Studio aims to develop two smaller (approximately 20 hours of gameplay) premium quality titles.

The new studio will be “consisting of 20 people”, with the studios core team working on one of these games.

The Witcher 3 was shown at Microsoft’s E3 press conference, where it was confirmed it will be release on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles next year.

  1. I just can’t help myself but love CDPR. Two smaller titles which are 20 hours long EACH? WoW, other companies would get out three games which ALL add up to 20 hours and call them “big.”
