Square Enix has announced that the previously-named Final Fantasy Versus XIII game has now evolved into Final Fantasy XV, bringing with it a slew of changes and upgrades only possible on the next generation hardware.
While the main concept, world, story, and characters have remained unchanged, the First Production Development Team has further refined the experience, bringing in new action, gameplay elements, and graphic quality to “match the technology of the next generation hardware, as well as the expectations of players eagerly awaiting the game’s release.”
For starters, take a look at the first, official announcement trailer.
Final Fantasy XV is scheduled for release on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 at a yet-to-be-determined date. It looked great, right? Now let’s see it in proper action.
