The Wii U has lost its exclusive Deus Ex Human Revolution Director’s Cut to an upcoming release on the PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360.
“After our Director’s Cut announcement we received an overwhelming response from the community asking us to bring this ultimate edition of Human Revolution to other platforms,” Eidos-Montreal’s Stéphane D’Astous explained. “We’re thrilled to accommodate that request. We can now say with pleasure, ‘You asked for this!'”
The Director’s Cut, released earlier this year gave Wii U owners a bunch of exclusive (well, formerly exclusive) features the previous release of the game on other consoles didn’t have such as improved visuals, better boss fights, all the DLC and developer commentary.
Perhaps the most notable factor about this story is that the Wii U’s GamePad functionality is also no longer exclusive as those features will now be available on the PlayStation Vita and Microsoft’s SmartGlass.
