North American PS Plus May Update!

North American PS Plus Additions for May have been Announced!

Playstation Plus

As usual, the guys at Sony let us know what to expect this month in terms of PS Plus, and I must say guys, this shaped up to be a pretty good batch of games. (Note: Games may necessarily be released in this order.)

Sleeping Dogs

Finally, Sleeping Dogs is making its way to the North American PS Plus program! Considered one of the surprise gems of 2012, Sleeping Dogs is one of the finest examples of a open world sandbox game. Fluid combat, interesting story, and tight driving controls made this game one of the best of 2012; all of us at Analog Addiction absolutely loved it and recommend it to all! Hell, many of our own editors considered it among their personal game of the year!

Pinball Arcade

Pinball Arcade Title

Pinball Arcade will also becoming to PS Plus and will include four tables for play – including Arabian Nights, Ripley’s Believe It or Not!, Theater of Magic, and Black Hole! This is a Cross-Buy title, and will be available on both PS3 and Vita for free with a PS Plus subscription.

Knytt Underground

The unique adventure/platformer, Knytt Underground (pronounce K-nytt) will also be coming to PS Plus late this month. A game featuring plenty of challenge, and even more exploration, its the biggest little game out there! It also boasts a rather interesting story, but I will say no more! It will be a Cross-Buy title, so play it on your PS3 or Vita!

BlazBlue: Continumm Shift Extend

PS Vita

Finally, PS Vita is a getting BlazBlue: Continumm Shift Extend. Promoted as the spiritual successor to Guilty Gear, BlazBlue is possibly the most unique fighting game this generation – boasting some of the most diverse fighting characters and a fighting system that has captured the heart of this writer. Even more, it includes an very lengthy story that will entertain as much as it will confuse you. Among my favorite fighting titles this generation, this title really shines on the Vita and is a welcome addition to Instant Game Collection.

That is all for this month in May. What do you think about this Month? Do you like it? Are you let down? Let us know in the comments below.
