Ubisoft has released the first gameplay trailer for The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot, its upcoming Free-to-Play dungeon crawler.
The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot (MQEL) is a dungeon crawler with a twist, all of the dungeons are other player’s castles. You create your castle with monsters and traps with the plan to make sure intruders (other players) cannot reach your treasure room and claim victory. Furthermore, you must traverse other player’s castles in search of victory and their treasure room.
Ubisoft claims there are “over 500 individual pieces of loot to collect,” and that new community created castles will be added every day. So far, three classes have been announced, The Archer, The Knight and The Mage.
From the trailer, it would seem The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot is attempting to create a humorous tone.
The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot is currently in closed alpha testing. No word yet on a release date.
Below is an announcement trailer for the game, released in September, 2012.
