Ninja Theory’s take on Dante’s world has seen a lot of controversies, mainly because of Dante’s new look (really guys?). Even so, once the game was out, the majority of critics and gamers alike were impressed with this reboot of Devil May Cry, and are looking forward to seeing more out of it. After playing it, we at Analog Addiction decided on our own favorite level.
NOTE: Our playthrough was done on the Nephilim difficulty.
After escaping the SWAT forces from their own hideout, Dante and Vergil find out that Kat has been taken prisoner by Mundus. They decide that the only viable way of rescuing her, is to propose a trade: Kat for Mundus’ mistress, Lilith, who also happens to carry his child (that’s pretty much the only reason Mundus would care about her, anyway). Dante goes to Lilith’s nightclub, and… things do get quite hot!
As a tribute to the overwhelmingly popular reality TV show, Britain’s Got Talent, Ninja Theory came up with their own version of it, specifically designed for Dante’s attributes (and Lilith’s amusement), called The Devil Has Talent. Here come the challenges!
After deciding there is no other way than confronting our hero head on, Lilith finally gets down and… let’s her “child” with “a face only a mother could love” play a little with Dante.
