It seems Activision has pulled all of its James Bond games from Steam and and the Activision store.
Thanks to Neogamr.net, it was brought to the attention of gamers that 007 Legends, James Bond 007: Blood Stone and Quantum of Solace are no longer on steam or on Activision’s online store. It’s worth noting that both Eurocom, the guys behind 007 Legends were closed down almost a month ago. Bizarre Creations, the team behind 2010’s James Bond 007: Blood Stone were also closed.
When directed to the Activision store page for 007 Legends, players will be met with only the games title and a blank screen.
It’s entirely possible that Activision’s right to publish James Bond games has run out. The deal signed between Activision, MGM and EON was signed in 2006 and isn’t meant to end until 2014 but given that all three games didn’t sell too well and weren’t received well by the critics, especially 007 Legends, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Activision has cut its losses and moved on.
However, until Activision speaks out about this,Goldfinger could be behind the disappearance.
