New Pokemon Mystery Dungeon To Release in March

For the first time on the 3DS, Nintendo will release a new title in their popular Pokemon Mystery Dungeon franchise.

On March 24th, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity will be made available for download on eShop as well as retail outlets.

You will have the option to start out as one of five Pokemon: Pikachu, Snivy, Oshawott, Tepig or Axew. With your Pokemon, you will journey through infinite dungeons, battle against or befriend other Pokemon and gather treasures all while exploring an enormous world.

This entry in the series will contain 3D graphics, wireless multiplayer and 20 Mystery Dungeons, which all change every time they are re-entered to give players nearly limitless replay value. In addition to the layout of the dungeons, Pokemon, item and treasure will change as well.

To access additional Mystery Dungeons, players can now go through “Magnagates.” Using the 3DS’ camera to open the Magnagates, you will scan circular objects in real life, which will let you continue the game even when the main Mystery Dungeons have been explored.
