Borderlands 2 Patch On The Way

Gearbox software are releasing two patches for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Borderlands 2.

The updates are designed to fix a bunch of bugs that occur when players engage in certain missions, come in contact with certain equipment, taking up particular challenges and just fixing numerous general gameplay issues.

The update also addresses a bug that rid players of their “Badass Rank” for unknown reasons. The bug is said to be restoring lost progress to players. Gearbox’s support page says that the update will be adding functionality that will “restore [the] Badass Rank in the event [in which] it was lost. It’ll also be detecting whether or not you had it in the first place.

” To ensure you are credited for as much [save] progress as possible, please load your character, select ‘Continue’on the main menu, and then ‘save and quit’ after you enter the world. Repeat this process for each character in your character list.”
