Rumors of a Mini Wii Hit the Web

Rumors have surfaced on the interwebs about Nintendo remodeling their best-selling console, the Nintendo Wii.

Originally sited on Nintendo World Report, the possible leak was discovered on an internal release schedule from a major retailer. This is the information leaked about the console:

Introducing the Wii Mini! Coming Dec 7 2012!
Compact Nintendo Wii Console
Comes with Sensor Bar, Nunchuk and Wii Remote Plus with Jacket.

It seems to come with the standard bells and whistles the console normally comes with. However, there is no price listing nor does it seem to come with a game like all new Wiis have in the past. The colors of the mini console were also not listed with the given information.

Seems that Nintendo is fancying a smaller model of their already portable system, but what do you think? Would you get a mini Wii if it exists? Does it matter if a game comes with it or not? Is it a pointless move on Nintendo’s part to release a re-modeled Wii when the Wii U just released? Let us know what you think in the comments section.

I’m personally hoping that this means we will get some Mini Miis!
