Assassin’s Creed III Will Support Micro Transactions…

An EA exec said not too long ago, that micro transactions will be found in every game in the future. It seems that the future is happening right now for Ubisoft. According to a few product listings on both Xbox Live and PSN, Assassin’s Creed III will allow players to purchase a range of in-game “Erudito Credits” from $1 to $20.

What are these “Erudito Credits”, you ask? Well, according to WorthPlaying, with these “Erudito Credits” players will have access to boosters that will allow them to “acquire some game items, disregarding your current level.” It doesn’t stop here though. Ubisoft plans on getting these micro transactions in other games, like the upcoming Watch Dogs. Other than these micro transactions, Ubisoft will support Assassin’s Creed III with a host of DLCs, the first 4 consisting of the alternate story of George Washington’s reign. You can read more about it right here. You can also buy a Season Pass for 30$ which will give you all the additional contents for free.

Assassin’s Creed III hits stores on October 30 for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, November 18 for the Wii U and November 20 for the PC.

What do you think? Do you agree to have these micro transaction floating around in a retail game? Let us know in the comments bellow!

Vlad Pintea is waiting not so patiently at all, to play his most anticipated game this year, but hates these deals like micro transactions in it. You want to do it in a F2P game? Fine! But leave retail game alone. This is just stupid! *Sigh*, other than that, you can contact him via e-mail at or, Skype, My IGN or on Steam, all at the same name: vlad94pintea. Have a good day and remember! Stay calm and keep on gaming! Vlad Pintea out!

    • I perfectly get you. It’s just not fun to just get everything from the get go. It ruins the appeal of playing more and more and unlocking the items. Fortunately, it doesn’t ruin the experience for anyone else, since there isn’t something exclusive to this deal.
