Walking Dead Retail Disc Details

As previously mentioned, The Walking Dead video game is being given the retail disc treatment on December 4th. Telltale has also revealed a special Collector’s Edition of the game containing the disc as well as The Walking Dead compendium 1 with exclusive cover art and containing issues 1-48 of the comic. You can own it for the price of $69.99. If you’re salivating at the thought of that, you best pre-order it, because this edition of the game is only available through pre-order. Telltale has also disclosed that the compendium from this edition of the game will not be sold outside of this package.

As you can see in the picture above, you can also pick up the standard version of the game which includes all of the episodes of the currently downloadable title for the price of $29.99. Obviously in order for the entire game to be on a disc by December 4th, the fifth and final chapter of the game needs to be finished, and it has been said that at some point in November, gamers will receive the last chapter in the incredibly well-received arcade game. The Walking Dead will be available on both Xbox 360 and PS3 in December, so if you’re not a fan of downloading your games, you’ll have the chance to slaughter zombies as your favourite characters from the comics in time for the holidays.
