The Walking Dead Getting Retail Disc Treatment

Are you a fan of the Walking Dead, but not a fan of downloading arcade titles due to the space it eats up on your hard drive or because of a less than stellar internet connection? Maybe you just don’t like having to go buy those weird points and dollar cards? Whatever the reason, if you prefer physical copies over digital download, you’ll be glad to hear that the entire Walking Dead video game is being released in disc format on December 4th for those of you in North America. No date has been set for Europe yet, but that will hopefully change in the coming days.

Obviously, this also means that all of the episodes will have been released by this date, although if I had to guess, I’d say the final chapter will likely be released at the same time as the December 4th launch of the physical copy. While no price has been announced, it is also fairly likely that it will follow in the footsteps of arcade bundles before it and be priced around the $19.99 mark.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the topic as we learn more, but for now gamers everywhere should be rejoicing because not only those of you with high speed and reliable internet connections will be able to enjoy one of the most enjoyable television and comic books series in video game form. Seriously, name one person who doesn’t like the Walking Dead in at least one of its forms… you can’t. It’s been scientifically proven.
