Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes Debut Video

Konami has released an 11 minute gameplay trailer for their recently announced ‘Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes’. Featuring mostly a lengthy cinematic followed by a short gameplay video,  showcasing a man with a wide brimmed hat and a fairly damaged face, looks to be from burns. We are then introduced to ‘Snake’ as he tried to infiltrate an enemy base, until a searchlight spots him and we are sent to credits.

The game looks gorgeous showing off the new Fox Engine, showing some great lighting effects set in a very convincing stormy night. This game to set a new standard in the series and gaming in general.

Are you excited for Ground Zeroes? Are to happy with another appearance from Snake himself? Let us know in the comments below.

  1. Looks awesome. For a moment at 8:04 i thought it was Old Snake. They said that they could continue the series with Old Snake… dunno how but they have their surprises. Have you played the other games before?

    • I do have a history with Metal Gear, my mates are big fans and my room mate is a die-hard fan. Seen 3 and 4 been played a lot, almost whole way through. I missed them on PS1 and PS2 which happens when your parents brought you games, so I finally tried the catch up a few months back. Played MGS off the PSN store, but after playing for an entire day my save randomly disappeared and haven’t gone back to it. But now MGS is on my Vita, may have to jump back in.

      • I played the MGS demo then i bought MGS4. Not a good way to start off coz i didn’t have a clue where the story was going but nevertheless, the story’s awesome.

      • You actually have to save within the codec everytime.. It’s a trap for n00bs to the game and sometimes it catches me off guard.. So the save may not have actually ‘disappeared’, it just never happened.

        • I could have sworn I saved to the correct codec though, I remember that being said and wrote it down. Hmm next time I shall double check, damn n00bs
